If you have always wanted to explore the underwater world and experience adventure that cannot be matched, then scuba diving is for you! And this is where it begins. The PADI Open Water Diver certification is an internationally recognised diving qualification and the world’s most popular scuba course.
The course takes about four full days to complete, however we are able to tailor the course to suit your schedule, whether that be intensive consecutive days or spread out over a longer period of time.
The Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a class room).
- Confined Water dives to learn basic scuba diving skills
- Open Water dives to use the skills you have learnt and to explore the underwater world!
The cost of the course includes your Open Water crewpack, which is yours to keep after the course is completed, the certification, and the use of the diving equipment for the duration of your course.
To enrol in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course) you must be at least 10 years of age. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with diving is necessary.
